Yes that’s right. It’s version 2.4. Zxcv11791’s team made a few good additions to the last instalment. For those who don’t know Naruto: The Setting Dawn (NTSD) is a Naruto-based game using Little Fighter 2’s (LF2) game engine. NTSD is the best Naruto LF2 mod I’ve ever seen.

It’s really cool and it’s free so why not download it? Now, let’s check out what’s new in 2.4. New Characters Two new characters are now available for use in battling other ninjas – the zombie guys Hidan and Kakuzu.

They are completely playable in all modes. They both have their trademark moves in the manga and anime.

Hidan can turn into reaper mode and Kakuzu can summon all his hearts to battle. New Stage Mode The storyline is basically the same.

However they made some few additions. There are now in-game scenarios (where characters talk) for the first stage so that you’ll be able to understand the story. And as always, the stage mode is difficult. I mean REALLY difficult. They haven’t, however, added some story depth in succeeding stages.

It’s waaay cooler than the original NTSD. They’ve even changed the interface to a better looking one that suits the Naruto theme. They’ve released a beta and I was able to try it out.

Only 3 characters (Killerbee, Sasuke, Naruto) were playable so far. New features include being able to jump on buildings, double jumps and more.
